"It is everyone's right to achieve this state of one's evolution and everything necessary is already inbuilt. But as I respect your freedom, you have to have the desire to achieve this state; it cannot be forced upon you!" – Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

To receive your self-realisation, you can come to our free meditation courses, experience it in the online meditation section of this website, or follow the steps below.

Experience it now!

Read first the following four easy steps, and then repeat them with your eyes closed with a deep, sincere desire in your heart. We are using Shri Mataji's picture as her photograph is a source of positive vibrations. To begin with, sit with your back straight but comfortably. Take off your shoes and place both your hands with palms upwards on your lap, look at Shri Mataji's picture and relax.

Step 1 Keep your left hand towards Shri Mataji's picture and put your right hand on your heart. With complete conviction and sincerity, say up to 12 times "Mother, I am the Spirit" I_am_the_spirit
Step 2 Now put the right hand on the left side of your neck and say "Mother, I am not guilty". How can you be guilty if you are the spirit? You can repeat this up to 16 times I_am_not_guilty
Step 3 Next, put your hand on your forehead and press both the temples and say, "Mother I forgive everyone and I forgive myself". Don't think of someone in particular or a specific event; just forgive everyone in general, including yourself. It is not important how many time you say it, but how sincerely I_forgive_everyone
Step 4 Now, stretch out your right hand and put your palm on the top of your head (the fontanel bone area). Massage the fontanel area with your hand in a clockwise direction seven times, pressing hard. Say in your heart, with pure desire, "Mother, please give me my Self-Realisation". Say this seven times Realisation

After the end of the meditation, see if you are feeling relaxed and if your thoughts have slowed down or gradually disappeared. This is the first stage of meditation - thoughtless awareness - where you are fully alert but without any thoughts, in a state of pure and peaceful consciousness.

Now see if you can feel a sensation of a gentle cool breeze in your palms and above your head. It might be warm in the beginning which is a sign that your Kundalini energy is purifying your chakras, but it will eventually cool down. You can verify it by placing your left palm 6-12 inches above your head, then trying with the right palm.

This is the beginning of a fantastic journey into your own spiritual existence. It is a door opened to a new dimension of your awareness, which you can open and explore. I f sustained through regular meditation, you will be able to feel your subtle centers (chakras) on your fingertips, and correct them using your spiritual energy (Kundalini).

Daily Meditation

MeditateSit comfortably with hands open relaxed on your lap, palms upward in front of Shri Mataji's photograph. You can sit on the floor or on a chair, whatever is most comfortable. Keep your attention loose and let your thoughts fade away. If you have too many thoughts, simply forgive them to reach mental silence.

During the meditation you may feel a cool breeze in our hands or above your head which signifies that your Kundalini is awakened and active. You may also feel some sensations in your hands and fingers like tingling or numbness. This indicates that the Kundalini is working on a specific chakra that requires attention. You can meditate 10 minutes in the morning and in the evening. A regular practice will yield the best results.
